Spanish Infanteria de Marina (circa 1920)

New figures to build up my Spanish naval infantry up to company strength, plus some transport. Part of my on going Spanish colonial/Rif War project.

Figures are 20mm Kelly`s Heroes, a mix of their Kreigsmarine and Soviet Naval Infantry.

A close up of the Britannia - British Naval Raiding Dory, the Spanish bought K-type landing barges off the Brits (as used at Galipolli), so I think they`d have had some Dories too.....

Thanks Alan

They mix in nicely with the FAA Soviets I already had too.

I bought the two boats a month ago when i ran out of things to paint, they are very neat.

I`m working on a simple scenario now with an attack on a small fishing village by Infanteria de Marina, supported by off shore naval fire. A further attempt to try out new rules on the lads and introduce them to new concepts and tactics.

One who is lucky to still be alive Richard........no kit to paint must mean a near death experience surely.
